Seychelles vs Nigeria: Super Eagles claim 3-0 victory

The Super Eagles have claimed their first three points in the race to qualify for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, after they defeated Seychelles 3-0 in Victoria on Saturday.

Nigeria went into the game with no point in Group E, having lost their first fixture 2-0 to South Africa in Uyo last year.
However, there was no danger of another upset against the tiny island nation, as Gernot Rohr’s men completely dominated the first half.
Ahmed Musa saw his fierce effort come back off the goalkeeper to make it 1-0.
The Eagles went two goals up, after Kelechi Iheanacho’s free-kick came off the post and Chidozie Awaziem prodded home.
Odion Ighalo ended his barren run in front of goal from 12 yards, after the lively Samuel Kalu was fouled in the area.
