SEE NIGERIANS COMMENT.......Kemi Adeosun has done the honourable thing - Nigerians react to news of Finance Minister's resignation

Kemi Adeosun has done the honourable thing - Nigerians react to news of Finance Minister
Nigerians on social media are reacting to the news of the reported resignation of Finance Minster, Kemi Adeosun.

Adeosun's.resignation follows the NYSC certificate forgery scandal she had been enmeshed in since July when Premiumtimes reported that she never partook in the mandatory One year NYSC scheme, a prerequisite to picking any job in the federal service.

Though Kemi Adeosun or the presidency are yet to officially comment on the development, Nogerians on social media are dissecting the topic from all angles...
Kemi Adeosun has done the Honourable thing and resigned over her NYSC scandal. I don't remember the last time a top government official did that.

Top woman 👏
After Elevating Nigeria to the Poverty Capital of the World, Kemi Adeosun has finally resigned.
I’m hearing that Kemi Adeosun has resigned. Good. Now she needs to be arrested for certificate forgery.

Nevertheless, let us not forget that Buhari removed the most senior DSS man who Osinbajo appointed and replaced him with someone from the North, who had already retired.
I have just received, with sadness, news that Kemi Adeosun has resigned. She is a talented, courageous woman who drove a lot of important reforms as Minister of Finance. However, the NYSC saga had made her position untenable & the situation was only going to go from bad to worse.
With Kemi Adeosun’s reported resignation, it’s safe to declare that Nigeria’s journalist of the year is definitely our own @abdulfagge, for revealing her forgery and how she was being exploited by NASS. And allow me to famz that he’s my former co-worker. 😀
A Nigerian Minister, Kemi Adeosun has resigned. I don’t remember tweeting “reigned” beside the name of a Nigerian minister. This was late in coming but better late than never.
Dear Prof. Itsey Sagay, your Kemi Adeosun has resigned. Anything to say?
😱 It just occurred to me!
Davido postponed his US tour due to 'NYSC commitments'
Kemi Adeosun resigned over NYSC certificate forgery allegations

Maybe NYSC wants to post Davido to Ministry of Finance..to fill in! Shebi he knows how to manage '30 billion for d akant'😝
WATCH OUT!

They'll tell you Kemi Adeosun has earned their respect for resigning and give you reasons.

Remind them Ngozi Okonjo Iweala resigned on principle, Barth Nnaji resigned on conflict of interest, but Adeosun resigned on criminal/forgery allegations.
Wawu... Kemi Adeosun has resigned over alleged NYSC certificate forgery..

I didn't know Nigerians can resign from public office. 😀

Resigning is not enough, investigate the matter, is she is found guilty, send her to Prison. Make the others learn. 🚶
@MBuhari , every Ministerial appointee goes through a thorough background check, if indeed Kemi Adeosun forged her NYSC certificate, those responsible for screening and clearing her documents need to be censured, as they obviously failed to do their job properly.
So Kemi Adeosun resigned, and people are literally singing her praises. All this "she has earned my respect" is the reason we are where we are as a country. We celebrate the barest minimum and it's annoying!
The 2 arms of government involved in getting a Minister in office, the executive and legislature, failed woefully in the Kemi Adeosun saga. The most important part of this is not her resignation, but how she managed to game the system until Premium Times outed her.
Mrs Kemi Adeosun has resigned...Coming a little bit late though but good nonetheless...Daddy Abba Moro didn't resign despite orchestrating the killing over 20 Nigerians in a fake Immigration recruitment scam...and GEJ folded hands and pretended as if nothing happened.
So Aunty Kemi Adeosun has finally resigned over her NYSC scandal, when will she be charged for forgery?
Kemi adeosun's should be tried if there are sufficient evidence against her.

Resignation is the first step, the other is for her to prove her innocence in the Court of law.

Simple.
