The Senator representing Bayelsa East, Ben Murray-Bruce, has condemned the invasion of the residences of the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, and Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu.
He was reportedly on his way to report to the police headquarters after he was invited for questioning by the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Ibrahim Idris over Offa bank robbery.
Reacting to the development, Ben Bruce described the siege of both lawmakers residences as an act of desperation.
According to him, this has set the country in a state of full dictatorship.
“I Stand With Saraki and I urge you to do the same. If we allow what is currently being done to them to stand, we are in full-blown dictatorship.”
