It appears Ali Modu Sheriff who has been accused of crippling the main opposition party in Nigeria has joined the APC finally.
Senator Ali Modu Sheriff, a former caretaker committee Chairman of
the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) initially had a setback in
his bid to re-join the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
It was gathered that Sheriff, a former governor of Borno State and
three term senator, will return along with PDP’s 2015 gubernatorial
candidate in Borno State, Alhaji Gambo Lawan.
Unfortunately, he didn't get the 'royal attention' he desired as he
was directed by the national party leadership to join at the ward
level. It appears that his transfer move has been completed with Ali
Modu Sheriff pictured in company of APC members.
Former National Chairman of PDP Ali Modu Sherriff attended major
stakeholders meeting of the All Progressives Congress, APC, which took
place at the Multi-Purpose Hall of the Government House in Maiduguri.
Others in attendance are Governor Kashim Shettima of Borno, Mutawalli Kashim Imam and others.
