hehehehe..........The presidency has denied media reports that President Buhari's son,
Yusuf, has been flown to Germany for further treatment. The Cable this
morning reported that Yusuf who was involved in a bike accident on
Tuesday, was flown to Germany for further treatment in the early hours
of today.
Senior Special Assistant to President Buhari on Media and Publicity,
Garba Shehu, in a text message sent to Daily Trust, said the report is
false.
Yusuf who is President Buhari's only son, broke a limb and had a head
injury in the bike accident that happened at Gwarimpa area in Abuja. He
is being treated at the Cedarcrest hospital in Abuja.
Nigerians on Thursday berated President Buhari over what they described as failed health system in Nigeria.
This is in reaction to report that Buhari’s only son, Yusuf has been flown to Germany for treatment.
Some Nigerians said the development was confirmation that all is not well with the health sector in Nigeria.
However, others set aside anger towards Buhari and wished Yusuf a quick recovery.
Some of the reactions on Twitter and Facebook below…
@Semirah44: “Wish him quick recovery, But it is a shame!! What a
country!!!! If they had taken care of the country and improved the
healthcare system, would there be any need flying any one abroad? A lot
of people have died has a result of having an accident that led to head
injury due to the fact that the hospital here do not have what it takes
to treat them and the patient in the other hand, lacks money to fly
abroad for treatment. Now look at you Mr president, you refused to take
care of home “Nigeria”; many Nigerians don’t have that means and you can
fly your child out for treatment. It is well!!
@mymelanin: “If he was the son of Nobody, who will fly him out? He
must die too so they can feel the pain of parents who lose their
children everyday due to lack of good health care system.
@yvonneokotie: “Why will people be praying for someone’s death? Nigerians fear God. wishing him speedy recovery.
@andee_lurva: “If there were facilities in Nigeria, he wouldn’t have needed to be flown out. Just saying.
@boujee_iphe: “Why not St. Nicholas Hospital. President that doesn’t
patronise his country is that one president…na tax payers money dem go
use treat this one oh.
@okey: “Why not treat him here, yeye government that can not even
take care of our own hospital, put things in place for everybody to
belong.
@adaakuego: “Not one good hospital in Nigeria and your father wants
another term. What goes around comes around. Selfish shameless
visionless corrupt leaders. Get well soon dear.
@faithfuelor: “Mixed feelings for me..The human in me wants him to be
fine but the Nigerian in me wants otherwise because his father has
caused many people to lose their lives..Anyway let the will of God be
done.
@folsy: “We that have headache cos of fuel scarcity nko…Biko someone
should come and send me transport to leave my village cos am having
headache already because of this fuel hike and transport fare.
@Nnaemeka: “I wonder where Yusuf got much petrol he was wasting on
grooving & gallivanting when people are in excruciating pain as a
result of fuel scarcity. Well, I wish him well & quick recovery even
though that his father is tormenting & torturing us, Yusuf needs
our prayers right now, the race is individually & our deeds will be
judged individually as well.
@Ekwuojo: “You have refused to build Nigeria hospitals and bring it
to world class standard even after two years in governance, and you
claimed you have brought change to Nigeria. We the poor cannot afford to
travel abroad but Buhari and his families visit abroad at their wish to
access health.
@Johnsteve: “Buhari receive treatment in abroad and his son now in
abroad for the same treatment. Abeg is the change that APC promised us?
Get well soon boy.
@Goldcomzy: “Keep flying your people to abroad and don’t come and
make standardise hospitals in Nigeria. Keep flying, you never see
anything.

@OkutaKen: “Mad people. Keep flying abroad for medical treatment while our hospitals are shit holes. I pray he doesn’t make it.
