WERRIN DEY HAPPEN FOR IKORODU, LAGOS.....? Photos: Ikorodu youths keep vigil at their community following repeated attacks by Badoo members

Hmmm.......In the wake of the recurring attacks carried out by notorious cult group, Badoo, residents of Ikorodu town in Lagos have begun to keep vigils at the town. Saturday night, men and some youths who were armed with machetes and other dangerous weapons, kept vigil at different locations of the town.

 The youths have accused security agents of not adequately safeguarding them. The residents say they expect the police and other security agents to have flooded the community but this isn't the case. They plan to stage a protest to the PHCN office in the town.
They claim lack of electricity has helped Badoo members carry out their attacks, as most of them operate in the dark.
 The Lagos State Police Command working in conjunction with Odua Peoples’ Congress (OPC), Onyabo and local vigilantes in Ikorodu axis of Lagos State have arrested 15 suspects in connection with the activities of the dreaded Badoo in Ikorodu.

The team, in an operation, which started Saturday morning, witnessed the movement of a combined team of police officers drawn from Lagos Command, Rapid Response Squad and Ikorodu Police Division led by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Operations, Mr. Imohimi Edgal working with some security support groups in Ikorodu, combing streets after streets arresting suspects.

The team combed the  black spots and suspected areas like Ikorodu, Ibeshe, Ita Maja, Ijede, Ipakodo and other areas arresting about 15 suspects for questioning.
The exercise was a follow up to a meeting with the factional leaders of Odua Peoples’ Congress, Chief Gani Adams and Onyabo held yesterday. Over 40 police and RRS vehicles are believed to have been used in the operations. According to the Lagos State Police PPRO, ASP Olarinde Famous - Cole, the exercise is a continuous one.
Also involved in the exercise were the Commander, Rapid Response Squad, ACP Olatunji Disu, DPO, Ikorodu among other top police officers.
In what was described as an act of jungle justice, a Master of Ceremony, Chinedu Paul aka Think 2ice, was burnt to death by some residents of Ikorodu, Lagos after he was mistaken to be a member of feared killer gang, Badoo. A lady who appears to have been in a close romantic relationship with him, has now shared an emotional tribute via Facebook, along with photos of them together. She wrote;
