BREAKING: Senate fails to screen EFCC boss, Magu

Nigerian Senate on Thursday failed to screen the Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Ibrahim Magu.The Presidency had six months ago forwarded a letter to the National Assembly nominating Magu as the substantive Chairman of the anti-graft agency. The Senate was scheduled to screen and probably confirm Ibrahim Magu, the acting EFCC chairman today. The screening has now been postponed to December 15th. Magu has been serving in acting capacity since November 2015.
