hehehe......Manchester City midfielder, Yaya Toure, has apologized to the club and manager, Pep Guardiola, over comments made by his agent, Dimitri Seluk.
The Ivorian midfielder has not played for the Premier League club, since the dead-rubber home win over Steaua Bucharest, in the Champions League qualifiers in August.
In that period, Seluk has engaged in a long-running verbal exchange with Guardiola.
In a statement published on Facebook, Toure said: “I wish to apologise – on behalf of myself and those who represent me – to the management team and all those working at the club for the misunderstandings from the past.
“I have nothing but respect for Manchester City and only wish the best for the football club.
“On that note, I would like to thank all of the fans for their messages through this difficult period. This means a great deal to me and my family.”
Toure is in the final year of his contract with City, where he has won two Premier League titles, two League Cups and one FA Cup, since he joined from Barcelona in 2010.
