Obama will discuss the election results in a
statement to the press Wednesday from the White House, including "what
steps we can take as a country to come together after this hard-fought
election season," White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest said.
Earnest
provided few details of Obama's phone call with the president-elect,
other than to say he called from the White House residence in the early
morning hours.
Obama also called former secretary of State Hillary
Clinton and "expressed admiration for the strong campaign she waged
throughout the country," he said.
