hehehehehe....The Edo State government says President Muhammadu Buhari would on Monday and Tuesday next week pay a two-day official visit to the State.
This was contained in a statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government, Prof Julius Ihonvbere and made available to journalists on Thursday in Benin.
It said the President will use the historic visit to pay a courtesy call on His Royal Majesty, Omo N’Oba N’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Ewuare II and thereafter commission several key projects in the state.
Meanwhile, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Edo State, has commenced the inspection of electoral materials used by the Independent Electoral Commission, INEC, in the September 28 governorship election in the state.
PDP is seeking to upturn the victory of APC candidate, Godwin Obaseki, at the governorship election.
