The Secretary to the Benue State government, Targema Tarkema, was rushed to the teaching hospital in the state capital, Makurdi, after collapsing at home.Fidelis Chidi blog gathered that Tarkema collapsed at about 11am.A family member, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the SSG had a brain tumour.It was learnt that the state executive
meeting that lasted a whole day might have aggravated his condition.The Special Adviser to the state governor on Media and ICT, Mr. Tarhav Agerzua, also confirmed that the SSG was receiving treatment at the Benue State University Teaching Hospital.
