Amodu, Siasia meet on Super Eagles’ list

samson-siasia_1g928okooo...make them win ooo....Technical Director of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Shuaibu Amodu, will meet with interim Super Eagles coach, Samson Siasia and his assistants, Salisu Yusuf and Emmanuel Amuneke today.


At the meeting, they will discuss a list of players for this month’s 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Egypt.
Nigeria host seven-time champions Egypt on March 25 in Kaduna, before travelling to Cairo for the return game on March 29.
The North African country currently leads Group G with six points from two games, while the Eagles are in second place with four points.
A training camp made up of home-based players is expected to be opened, before they are joined by those based abroad.

The Pharoahs have chosen to arrive early, to help the squad acclimatise for two days and get a feel of the Ahmadu Bello Stadium playing turf.
“Egypt FA now confirm its arrival date for the epic clash against Nigeria,” a source revealed to Complete Sports.
“There were deliberations over the choice date but I can confirm to you that The Pharaohs will arrive Cairo on 19th of March and then fly to Kaduna on March 22.”
The Egyptian football authorities are also waiting for landing permit from the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), after finally approving the Kaduna Airport.
Hector Cuper’s men currently lead Group G with six points from two games. Nigeria have four points in second place.
