Victor Moses still in my plans – Oliseh
Okooo....hope we are sure.......Head coach of the Super Eagles, Sunday Oliseh, has insisted that Victor Moses remains part of his plans, despite the player not featuring for the country since he took charge in 2015.
Moses, who is currently on loan at West Ham, has scored seven times in 24 appearances for Nigeria since he made his debut in 2012.
Oliseh hinted that the forward could be called up for the crucial Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Egypt in March.
“Yes, Victor Moses is still in our plan. All the players who are eligible to play for us are still in our plans aside those who have retired from the national team,” he told Completesportsnigeria.com.
“The truth is that I will put a ‘but’ to it at the moment. This team started with the game against Tanzania and is evolving.
“We have played 14 games since I took charge of the team and we lost our first official game against Guinea at the African Nations Championship.
“We have like seven or eight players from the CHAN team that are good enough to play for the main Super Eagles.
“It’s good when you have a large pool of players to pick from, so everyone will have to fight for a place in the team.”
The Eagles are currently in second place in Group G, with four points from two games, behind the Pharaohs.
