Scores feared killed as multiple explosions hit Gombe

Hmm..na wa oooo....At least forty persons were feared killed on Wednesday night in Gombe State following three-bomb explosions at two motor parks in the state.
Fidelis Chidi blog reports that the first two explosions occurred at about 7pm at Dadin-Kowa Motor Park, the busiest bus station in the state.
The blasts suspected to be from Improvised Explosive Devices were said to have occurred few minutes apart.

The third blast occurred about two hours later at Tashan Dukku Motor Park.
An eyewitness told newsmen that 12 dead bodies were recovered at the Dadin Kowa Bus park, while over 30 other bodies were removed from the blast scene in Duku area of the city.
The Police Public Relations in the Gombe State, Fwaje Atajiri, who confirmed the attack to newsmen said the fatality figure was yet to be confirmed.
Atajiri “It is true that there were bomb attacks in the motor park but the casualty figure is not yet known. The injured have been taken to the hospital and the area has been cordoned off to prevent hoodlums from taking advantage of the situation to loot people’s property.”

29 people have been confirmed dead and 105 were seriously injured from the multiple bomb attacks that happened in Dadin kowa motor park and Tashan Dukku motor park in Gombe state yesterday July 22nd. According to NEMA, the number may likely increase.
