A
soldier, who was not authorized to speak to the press said, they were
hoping for better days because President Buhari being a former military
officer knows exactly what should be done, especially with regard to the
welfare of soldiers.
Asked
to know what will happen if the situation remains the same, even with
President Buhari’s emergence, he said, ”that would be most unfortunate

Speaking
on the ongoing fight against Boko Haram insurgents, he said, “The truth

issue of Boko Haram, more especially that they have links with other
terrorists organization across the globe. But with sustained vigor, we
can minimize their attacks.”
