Politics .....Former Speaker of House of Representatives, Aminu Bello Masari, yesterday stated that former President Olusegun Obasanjo left the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, long before now.

Masari is the governorship candidates of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Katsina Staate and a founding member of the party.
Reacting to the card-tearing news that made headlines earlier in the week, Mmasari said: “That was ceremonial tearing of the PDP membership card but Obasanjo left PDP long ago”.
Masari described Obasanjo as a dogged fighter who was always sure of his onions before engaging in any fight, stressing that his verdict on the Jonathan presidency could not be more correct.
“He was a military head of state and president for eight years. He single-handedly brought this government. So if he says this government is bad, it means it’s bad,” Masari added.
