How many we wan talk sef....hehehe.....UK Prime Minster David Cameron doesn't approve of the comment Pope Francis made following the Charlie Hebdo massacre. But opposing what the Pope said, Cameron said freedom of speech is important in an open society;

'I think in a free society, there is a right to cause offence about someone's religion. I'm a Christian; if someone says something offensive about Jesus, I might find that offensive, but in a free society I don't have a right to wreak vengeance on them. We have to accept that newspapers, magazines, can publish things that are offensive to some, as long as it's within the law. That is what we should defend.'
 See how pope said it.....
On a plane from Sri Lanka to the Philippines , the head of the Catholic Church, Pope Francis talked about the recent Charlie Hebdo attack in Paris. While defending freedom of expression saying its a fundamental human right, he also said ‘you cannot insult the faith of others’
"One cannot provoke, one cannot insult other people’s faith, one cannot make fun of faith. There is a limit. Every religion has its dignity...in freedom of expression there are limits.”
He gestured to a friend and said “If my good friend Dr Gasparri says a curse word against my mother, he can expect a punch. It’s normal. It’s normal. You cannot provoke. You cannot insult the faith of others. You cannot make fun of the faith of others.”

  1. PRESS RELEASE
    Pope says you cannot insult the faith of others’- Does this apply to Protestants?
    Yesterday thurs 14/01/15 the Pope stated that people should not make fun of others faith, that there are limits to freedom of expression in response to the Charlie Hebdo incident you can read up on it here ttp://www.theguardian.com/world/2015/jan/15/pope-francis-limits-to-freedom-of-expression#comment-46192618
    Hmmm I wonder if that comment was directed also to Protestants who see the Roman Catholic faith as paganism, the worship of Mary as the worship of Ashtoreth/Inanna etc and the office of the pope itself according to the Westminster Confession , to be the office of the Anti Christ?
