Anambra Court Adjourns Case Against Three Native Doctors to April 11

The Anambra State High Court, led by Justice Jude Obiorah, has postponed the case against three native doctors—Onyeze Jesus, Akwa Okuko, and Eke Hit—accused of criminal activities, including preparing Oke-ite. The adjournment allows for proper service and arraignment.

Defense counsel Remigus Okoli criticized the state government’s approach, arguing that due process must be followed to ensure the accused receive fair legal representation. Attempts to get comments from the government’s legal team were unsuccessful. The case will resume on April 11, 2025.
