VERY, VERY SAD NEWS; ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO BELIEVE!
With very heavy hearts; almost impossible to believe, we regret to announce the death this evening of the immediate past CMD of UBTH; Prof Michael Okoeguale Ibadin. After a battle with a protracted illness,he eventually succumbed at the ICU of UBTH, Benin city.
On behalf of the EXCO of MDCAN, I express our heart felt sympathy to the Ibadins, members of Child Health department, MDCAN members, UBTH management, members of staff, his mentees, friends and well-wishers.
May the Almighty God grant we all the fortitude to stomach this shocking,rude and irreparable loss.Kindly accept my deep heartfelt sympathy.
It is a very sad moment indeed for us all!
