Reno Omokri has said that what a foreign coach could not do with Super Eagles, a local coach is doing.
He said this on his Instagram page this evening while commending the Nigerian team's coach Austine Eguavoen after the Super Eagles beat Guinea Bissau 2-0.
His post reads;
''What can I say? What a foreign coach could not do, a local coach is doing. Sometimes, what you are looking for outside is actually in your pocket. Augustine Eguavoen is doing a stellar job. The boys are doing us proud and the super in Super Eagles is not hype. It is reality.
Who was the man of the match? Hmm… What if I say Simon? Anyway, let me say that the best thing about the defeat of Guinea Bissau is that people from both ends of Nigeria scored a goal each. So, it was a victory that promoted national unity.
And the best thing is that the Super Eagles are always prepared. They do not underestimate anybody. Never underestimate anybody. If you are against an opponent or if an enemy comes against you, prepare. Do your homework. Don’t depend on your reputation, when your opponent is depending on his preparation. Don’t be like the giant Ghana that lost to the tiny Comoros.''

The Super Eagles of Nigeria defeated Guinea Bissau 2-0 in their Group D encounter at the Africa Cup of Nations on Wednesday night, January 19 in Garoua, Cameroon.
Sadiq Umar scored in the 56th minute to put Nigeria ahead in the game after a wonderful left footed assist from Kelechi Iheanacho.
While William Troost-Ekong scored Nigeria’s second goal after a sensational dribble by Moses Simon in the 75th minute.
Simon dribbled three players in the left side of the 18 yard box and his shot hit the bar before captain Ekong scored from the rebound.
Nigeria held on to victory and though the team came to the tournament with a new coach, they have convincingly won their first three matches putting them as favorites to win the tournament.
With the victory, Nigeria is the only team in this year's AFCON that reached the last 16 round winning all group matches.
