Youths in Ozoro, a community in Delta state on Monday morning August 3, staged a protest over what they described as incessant harassment by the police in the community. watch

The protest however took a different turn after it became violent and in the process, a police officer allegedly fired a shot to disperse the protesters. The bullet however hit one of the protesting youth, killing him instantly.
Confirming the incident to LIB, the spokesperson of the state police command, Onome Onovwakpoyeya, said an investigation has commenced into the incident.
