Dr. Stella Immanuel (Gwandiku-Ambe)

She is not a Nigerian. She is a Cameroonian. She is the owner of Fire Power Deliverance Ministry. She attended University of Calabar in Nigeria and graduated in 1990.


She did Residency in Pediatrics at Bronx-Lebanon in New York. She was Intern under Dr. Babatunde Dosu, one of our Pediatricians here in Dallas.

She has Medical Licenses in Louisiana, Texas (November 2019) and Kentucky.

It remains unclear to me how she crossed from Pediatrics to Adult Medicine /Emergency to treating a 96-year-old patient.

Nonetheless, there is a ‘Gofundme’ page for legal troubles in her name, maybe to cash in. Also, reliable sources have confirmed that this campaign is politically motivated and sponsored by Steve Bannon’s BREITBART. 

Remember none of them were wearing masks. Also, this campaign tends to look for ‘easy manipulated doctors’ like Trump’s 2016 strange physician.

Career

Immanuel began her career at the Paediatric Clinic in Louisiana. In December 1998, she began practicing at the Southern Pediatric Clinic in Alexandria, Louisiana. In February 1999, she joined the General Pediatric Care Clinic as a pediatrician.^[4] In 2006, she owned the Rapha Medical and Therapeutic Clinic in Louisiana.^] She is a registered physician in Texas with an active medical license from the Texas Medical Board. She is a pastor and the founder of Fire Power Ministries in Houston.^] Immanuel has authored five books. In 2019, she began working for Rehoboth Medical Center in Houston.
Her medical claims are sometimes combined with her spiritual beliefs. She has said that many gynecological illnesses are the result of having sex dreams with succubi and incubi and receiving "demon sperm". She has said that endometriosis, infertility, miscarriages, and sexually transmitted infections are caused by the spirit husband. She has said that space alien DNA is used in medical treatments and that reptilians/aliens run the government. She stated in a 2015 sermon that "Illuminati" are using witches to destroy the world through abortion, gay marriage, and children's toys and media (such as Harry Potter, Pokémon, “Wizards of Waverly Place” and “Hannah Montana”).
On July 27, 2020, Immanuel appeared in a Tea Party Patriots-backed press event by a group known as "America's Frontline Doctors", in front of the steps of the Supreme Court, where she claimed that she had effectively "cured" COVID-19 in 350 patients at her clinic using a combination of Hydroxychloroquine, Zithromax, and zinc (a claim not supported by any strong scientific research; there is currently no drug approved as a specific cure for COVID-19). The Republican member of the House of Representatives, Ralph Norman from South Carolina, was standing alongside the doctors when they delivered their press event. The far-right website Breitbart News published the video from that press event and it was was widely circulated on Facebook, it was titled "American Doctors Address COVID-19 Misinformation with SCOTUS". The US President Donald Trump promoted the video on his Twitter feed. The video was viewed millions of times before it was scrubbed from the social media platforms and banned as misinformation. The antimalarial medication hydroxychloroquine had been previously removed as an emergency treatment for COVID-19 by the Food and Drug Administration, who stated that it had not been proven to be an effective treatment for the virus

Dr. Stella Immanuel became popular after she held a press conference with her medical team to claim that in their facility, they have treated atleast 350 patients with Coronavirus (COVID-19) and none of them have died instead, they got cured.

During the press conference organised by a group of American doctors under the aegis of “America’s Frontline Doctors” in front of the US Supreme Court in Washington DC , she said;

“Hello, I’m Dr Stella Immanuel. I’m a primary care physician in Houston, Texas.
“I went to medical school in West Africa, Nigeria, where I took care of malaria patients, treated them with hydroxychloroquine and stuff like that.
“So I’m used to these medications. I’m here because I have personally treated over 350 patients with COVID-19. Patients that have diabetes, patients that have high blood pressure, patients that have asthma, old people … I think my oldest patients are 92 … 87-year-olds.
“And the result has been the same. I put them on hydroxychloroquine, I put them on zinc, I put them on Zithromax, and they’re all well.
“For the past few months, after taking care of over 350 patients, we’ve not lost one. Not a diabetic, not a somebody with high blood pressure, not somebody who asthma, not an old person.
“We’ve not lost one patient. And on top of that, I’ve put myself, my staff, and many doctors that I know on hydroxychloroquine for prevention because by the very mechanism of action, it works early and as a prophylaxis.
“The study that made me start using hydroxychloroquine was a study that they did under the NIH in 2005 that says it works.

“Recently, I was doing some research about a patient that had hiccups and I found out that they even did a recent study in the NIH, which is our National Institute … that is the National … NIH, what? National Institute of Health.
“I know you’re going to tell me that you treated 20 people, 40 people, and it didn’t work. I’m a true testimony. So I came here to Washington DC to tell America nobody needs to get sick.
“This virus has a cure. It is called hydroxychloroquine, zinc, and Zithromax. I know you people want to talk about a mask. Hello? You don’t need a mask. There is a cure.
“I tell all of you doctors that are sitting down and watching Americans die. You’re like the good Nazi … the good one, the good Germans that watched Jews get killed and you did not speak up.
“If they come after me, they threaten me. They’ve threatened to … I mean, I’ve gotten all kinds of threats. Or they’re going to report me to the bots.
“I say, you know what? I don’t care. I’m not going to let Americans die. And if this is the hill where I get nailed on, I will get nailed on it. I don’t care.
“You can report me to the bots, you can kill me, you can do whatever, but I’m not going to let Americans die.
“And today I’m here to say it, that America, there is a cure for COVID-19. All this foolishness does not need to happen. There is a cure for COVID-19.”
