Okonjo-Iweala, Anya, Oteh others appointed members Post COVID-19 Economic Advisory Committee

Okezie Ikpeazu, the Governor of Abia State has approved the constitution of the Abia State Post COVID-19 Economic Advisory Committee.

This was contained in a press release signed by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG) and Chairman, Abia State COVID-19 Committee, Barrister Chris Ezem, which was made available to newsmen in Umuahia, Saturday.
According to the statement, a former Pro-Chancellor of Micheal Okpara Federal University of Agriculture, Umudike, Abia state, Professor Anya O. Anya is named Chairman of the Advisory Committee.

Members of the Advisory Committee included; Mrs. Arunma Oteh, Dr. Emeka Onwuka, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo Iweala, Mazi Nnamdi Okwuadigbo and Mr. Chris Odinaka Igwe.
Meanwhile, Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has approved the appointments of Chief K. O Mgbeahuru, as a member of Abia State University Governing.
He replaces Barrister Ekele Nwaohanmuo, who is currently the State Commissioner for Transport.

Also, the Governor appointed Chief Eze Nwanganga as General Manager of Abia Line Network.
The appointments take effect from April 28, 2020.
