CHEI.......... Photos: Suspected thugs chop off hand of Usmanu Danfodio University student in Sokoto

Habibu Abubakar, a 200-level student of the Department Modern European Languages and Linguistics, Usmanu Danfodio University, Sokoto, had his hand chopped off by suspected political thugs in Sokoto.

It was gathered that the suspected thugs ambushed the student in the early hours of Sunday at Mana area of the metropolis, dispossessed him of his motorcycle and amputated his two hands. Habibu’s uncle was alerted immediately and he was rushed to Orthopaedic Hospital in Wammako for treatment.
