In an interview with AIT, Femi said it is better to be alive than dying in the process of holding on to an ancestral land.
This morning, he appeared on Channels TV and he defended his comment.
''What I said was people should offer land for peace sake. What is the essence of saying you have an ancestral attachment to land and then you get killed at the end of the day. I say for peace sake, if you have land that you can give, give''he said in the interview
The Federal government has proposed to states to donate lands for cattle ranching as part of efforts to solve the unending farmers/herdsmen clashes. Most state governors have refused to donate land, saying that cattle ranching is  a busines and that anyone who wants to rear cattle should purchase land for such.
