Algeria vs Nigeria: Desert Warriors name Rabah Madjer as new coach

hehehehehe........The Algerian Football Federation has confirmed Rabah Madjer as the new head coach of their national team.
Madjer, who has previously managed the Desert Warriors in 1993, 1999 and 2002, becomes their fifth coach in three years.

He replaces Lucas Alcaraz, who was sacked only six months after his appointment in April.
Madjer has been tasked with leading the team to the 2019 African Cup of Nations in Cameroon, with their next qualification game against Gambia in March 2018.
His first competitive game however, will be the dead rubber 2018 World Cup qualifier at home to the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
Newly appointed Algeria coach, Rabah Madjer, has promised that his team will play for pride, when they take on Nigeria in their last 2018 World Cup qualifying fixture on November 10.
The Desert Foxes are out of the running, after losing four of their five qualifying matches, while the Super Eagles claimed the group’s sole ticket with four wins and a draw.
But despite the game being of little significance, Madjer insists he is taking it seriously.
“We will defend the honour of the the national team in the next match against Nigeria.
“You will see the true face of the team after the match against Nigeria,” RabahMadjer told lebuteur.com after his unveiling on Thursday.
