Wolves confirm Ikeme will remain first-choice goalkeeper

hehehehe....Wolverhampton Wanderers have confirmed that Carl Ikeme will remain their number one for the upcoming 2017/18 season.
The club announced last week that the Super Eagles goalkeeper was diagnosed with acute leukaemia, after returning with abnormal results following a routine blood test.

The 31-year-old has since begun an immediate course of chemotherapy.
Despite signing John Ruddy on a two-year deal, Wolves have allowed Ikeme retain the first choice goalkeeper jersey.
According to an official statement on the club’s website, replicas of the stripe will be made available for purchase in stores. And the proceeds will be used for a well-known Birmingham-based charity, Cure Leukaemia.
