Chelsea vs Arsenal: Conte’s men hammer Gunners 3-0 in China friendly

hehehehe.....Chelsea got some revenge for May’s FA Cup final defeat to Arsenal, with a comprehensive 3-0 win over the Gunners in Beijing, China on Saturday.

Michy Batshuayi scored twice after Willian had given the Premier League champions the lead, as Antonio Conte’s men secured victory in their second pre-season outing.
It is the first defeat for Arsene Wenger’s men in the off season, with the Blues punishing their slack defending with ruthless finishing.
Chelsea take on Bayern Munich next on Tuesday.
Arsenal will now return to Lonfon, to prepare for the Emirates Cup next weekend, before they face their London rivals again in the Community Shield.
Chelsea manager, Antonio Conte, appeared to do Arsenal a favour during their friendly in Beijing, as he stepped in to give Arsene Wenger special permission to use Olivier Giroud.
Wenger was ready to bring on Giroud as Alexandre Lacazette’s replacement in the Bird’s Nest, when Chinese officials stepped in and stopped the substitution.
It then emerged that the Gunners had failed to name the striker on their team sheet for the pre-season friendly.
Both Wenger and Vic Akers, part of the Arsenal staff, were furious, as the officials refused to relent and the administrative error threatened to leave the Gunners red-faced.
At that point, Akers approached Conte, who seemingly made it clear that he had no problem with Giroud being used, despite the paperwork issues.
Chelsea went on to win 3-0.
Chelsea owner, Roman Abramovich, is ready to sell Nemanja Matic to Manchester United, only if they offer £50million for the Serbian midfielder.
United are believed to be closed to sealing the transfer, after their initial £35million bid was turned down.
The Russian billionaire has cleared the way for the 28-year-old to leave for Old Trafford, but has now added what has been dubbed a ‘Lukaku tax’ to any transfer fee.

Matic has already been informed that he will be allowed to go, as a gesture of goodwill in view of his service to the club.
Abramovich stepped in to afford Petr Cech a similar courtesy and let him join Arsenal in 2015 when Jose Mourinho, then manager of Chelsea, was firmly against the transfer.
