hehehehe........Real Madrid remain number one club in Europe in the latest list of top teams published by ahead of 2017-2018 season.
Surprisingly, Atletico Madrid overtook Barcelona and Bayern Munich to move into second place in the UEFA rankings for club competitions.
Real Madrid, who won the 2014 and 2016 Champions League finals, as well as retained the trophy by defeating Juventus 4-1 in the 2017 decider, top the table with a coefficient of 151.799.
Atletico released a statement saying “Atletico Madrid has climbed to second place of the ranking of European clubs that UEFA elaborates.
“With 29 points and just four back of Barcelona, Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid are still very much in the thick of the La Liga title race.
“In addition, our team starts next season with 4,342 points since it has qualified for the group stage of the Champions League.
