How Amaechi Deceived VP Osinbajo During His Visit to Rivers State - Rivers Elders' Council Alleges

hehehehehe......Elders in Rivers State have made a startling allegation about how Vice President Yemi Osinbajo was deceived in the state. 

The Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi has been accused of deceiving the Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo during his visit to Rivers state.

 

The accusation was made by some elders in Rivers state under the aegis of Rivers Elders Consultative Council.

  

Osinbajo had on Tuesday addressed a stakeholders’ meeting of the APC in Port Harcourt, the state capital, shortly after a Town Hall Meeting in the state.

 

According to Daily Post, the elders’ Council alleged that Amaechi rented the crowd that attended the stakeholders forum of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

 

In a statement by the Executive Secretary of the council, Granville Abiye Goergewill, the forum explained that the Minister’s alleged action was aimed at making the acting President believe that APC existed in the state.

 

The statement reads in part, ”Even though party slogans were chanted at the meeting, there are two things Amaechi would have set out to achieve.

“It may be that he wanted the acting president to have an impression that there exists an APC in the state and therefore paid all sorts of persons, some were made to dress in chieftaincy regalia when they are not, just to make the crowd appreciable to the visiting acting president.

 

“The other reason may be that Amaechi intended to clear the shame he would have received at the airport when he did not receive the courtesies he perhaps expected from the people of the state.”
