Gambia: Vacate presidency seat by midnight or risk military invasion, Senegal tells Jammeh

hehehehe....oboy they go deal with this man oooo....The defeated president of Gambia, Yahya Jammeh has been asked by the government of Senegal to vacate the seat of power by midnight if he loves himself.

The Senegalese government added that if he (Jammeh) fails to relinquish power by midnight, military action would be engaged to remove him by force.

Also as a way of making its threat authentic, troops from Senegal have since moved towards the Gambian border in what can be described as a show of might, so as to send signal to Jammeh that he would be ousted in a military way if he fails to step down.

According to the Senegalese Army Spokesman, Colonel Abdou Ndiaye, “Our troops are on alert. The ultimatum takes effect at midnight, when Jammeh’s mandate is due to expire.

“If a political solution fails, we will engage in operations in The Gambia."

It would be recalled that the Gambian parliament had given an extension to Jammeh's stay in office for another 90 days.
