Steven Gerrard retires from playing football

hehe....Liverpool legend, Steven Gerrard has retired from playing football.
The former England captain played football for 18 years, had 748 appearances and scored 191 goals for clubs and his country.

Gerrard who joined Liverpool at the age of eight, made his senior debut in 1998, rose to become captain of the club.

He is the third in the Reds’ all-time appearance list, and holder of England’s fourth-most caps.

The star who played only 36 games for LA Galaxy and scoring 5 goals explained his reason for retiring from football.
He said, “I can’t do what I used to do again, and I just have to bid farewell to the game of football and I want to thank all the people who were part of my success while playing for Liverpool, England and LA Galaxy.”
