Remember the story today of the boy who was beaten and burnt to death in Lagos for allegedly stealing?  Well, he's not 7 years old like earlier speculated but he's still a young boy and from voices heard in the video it's alleged that he stole a phone and not garri as earlier reported.


It's also alleged that he wanted to kill the owner of the phone before he was apprehended, beaten and burnt to death. This happened at Alafia along Badagry-Expressway of Lagos last Saturday. Nothing warrants such barbaric act. Watch the heartbreaking videos abeg

Photos of a man beaten and burnt to death yesterday in Lagos went viral today and lots of people tagged the police on various social media platform.

Assistant Commissioner of Police, Abayomi Shogunle, who is the officer in charge of the Complaints Response Unit (CRU), at the Force headquarters, Abuja, took to his Twitter handle to clarify that the person that was killed was a man and not a boy, and that the corpse is currently in the mortuary for autopsy, and investigation on how he died is on going.
