BREAKING: Senate extends JAMB result’s validity to three years

The Senate on Thursday passed the amendment to the law establishing the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board.
The law now extends the validity of the result of the board’s examination from one year to three years.

The Nigerian Senate has passed the amendment to the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board’s Act #JAMBBill SB. 245 into law. Part of the amendment is the extension of the validity of JAMB UTME results to 3 years.

Senate President Bukola Saraki, in appreciating his distinguished colleagues for their work towards the passage of the bill commented that the new amendments will indeed bring financial relief to students as well as parents and reduce bottlenecks and corruption in the admission process.
