CHEI....AMCON takes over Silverbird TV, Cinemas over N11bn loan [PHOTOS]

wahala ooo....Assets Management Company of Nigeria, AMCON, has just taken over all assets owned by Silverbird Group. Silverbird Group is accused of owing the government agency about N11billion.

Early this morning, the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria AMCON, took over the businesses of Senator Ben Murray-Bruce over an N11 billion bank loan default. Ben Murray Bruce just tweeted, saying that the situation is being resolved.okoooo

Silverbird TV station has stopped live transmission of its programmes, showing only recorded programmes. As at 9:25AM on Wednesday when our correspondent tuned in to the channel, the screen was blank with nothing being transmitted.It remained so until the time of filing this report.
Guests and staff have also been asked to vacate all premises of the Silverbird TV stations and Cinemas.

hehehe....The Assets Management Company of Nigeria (AMCON) have reportedly secured an order from a Federal High Court in Lagos, to take over companies owned by businessman, Senator Ben Murray-Bruce.
According to Sahara Reporters, Murray-Bruce and his family members who are his business partners have defaulted in the repayment of N11billion loan to banks. They will now take over Silverbird Cinemas and other companies by Thursday morning over the alleged loan default.
