The priest, who is in charge of the Adoration Ministry, Enugu, Nigeria, spoke through his media Chief, Barr Ike Maximus Ugwuoke, insisting that some Nigerians were trying to cause disaffection between him and the presidency.

hehehehe....An Abuja Federal High Court on Thursday ordered the remand of a former Acting Governor of Adamawa, Ahmadu Fintri, in Kuje prison pending the determination of his bail application. Mr. Fintri was arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on a five-count charge bordering on money laundering.
He was said to have defrauded the Adamawa government to the tune of N970 million and 4.8 million dollars when he was the governor of the state for three months.

The defendant, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge.

Chei.... Abia Governorship : INEC issues certificate of return to Uche Ogah

Hehe....wahala..... INEC this afternoon issued a certificate of return to PDP member, Uche Ogah (left), following an order by the Abuja Federal High Court on Monday June 27th, mandating INEC to immediately issue Certificate of Return to Ogah who came second at the PDP primaries in the state in 2014. Ogah had dragged the former state governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, before the court, arguing that he presented false tax clearance during the party primaries. 

The presiding judge, Justice Okon Abang, said that on the account of fake tax returns during the primaries, Ikpeazu was never qualified to run in the PDP primaries as a governorship candidate. He nullified Ikpeazu's election and ordered INEC to issue a certificate of return to Ogah. Ikpeazu has since filed an appeal against the ruling.

RIP.....Educationist, novelist, and dramatist, and author of the ever green novel 'The Concubine' Elechi Amadi has died. He passed away this afternoon at a hospital in Port Harcourt. He was 82.He was born on 12 May, 1934 in Aluu community, Ikwerre local government area of River state. The River state government have released a statement mourning his passing. The late literary icon was  among the first generation of African writers and novelists. Some of his works include The Concubine (1966), The Great Ponds (1969), and The Slave (1978). May his soul rest in peace, amen.

RIP..... Ojo Maduekwe dies at 71

oh dear.....Former Minister of Foreign Affairs and one time Minister of Transportation, Ojo Maduekwe, has died. He died today June 29th. He was aged 71. He was appointed Foreign Minister of Nigeria on July 26, 2007 by President Umaru Yar’Adua and was made Minister of Transport by former President Olusegun Obasanjo in 2001. May his soul rest in peace Amen.
