Fuel price will drop in six months, subsidy will go permanently – Kachikwu

Kachikwu ibe
Hehehehe......Following the widespread condemnations trailing yesterday’s announcement of the removal of fuel subsidy, the Minister of state for Petroleum Resources, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu has assured that Nigerians will be amazed at what will become of the price of Premium Motor Spirit, fuel, in the next six months. The removal of fuel subsidy has taken the price of PMS to between N135 to N145 per litre, up from N86 and N86.50, which the Nigerian Labour Congress, NLC, has vowed to resist.

But speaking on Thursday morning when he featured at the Channels Television Sunrise Daily programme, Kachikwu pointed out that the move became imperative in order to end the persistent fuel scarcity in the country.
