SEE THE ARMED ROBBERY IN DELTA STATE

yobe policeHehehe...na wa oooo....The Police authorities in Delta state have confirmed the death of a robbery suspect and the arrest of another two suspects in two separate incidents in the state.
Command’s Public Relations Officer, DSP Celestina Kalu said in a statement issued on Thursday in Asaba that the killing of the suspect followed a gun battle between the police and armed hoodlums in Onicha-Uku community.

She also stated that two suspects were also arrested after a police patrol team flagged down a commercial vehicle along the Kwale/Ogwashi-Uku road, and recovered arms and ammunition from two of the occupants.
“On September 21, 2015, the DPO of Issele-Uku Division received a call from the Vice Chairman of Onicha-Uku vigilante group that six men with a M/Benz truck, with Reg. No. KTU 287 XD was seen in the bush near the new General Hospital site.
“So based on the information, the Anti-Crime patrol team was quickly drafted to the scene, and the robbers on sighting the rays of the patrol van light, started firing and the police responded.
Kalu said that in the ensuing exchange of gunfire, one of the criminals was gunned down while others escaped.
She said items recovered from the suspects, include one cut-to-size single barrel gun, two live and two expended cartridges, and one Hiyab truck, Reg. No. KTU 287 XD.
The police spokesperson said that the corpse of the deceased suspect has been deposited in the General Hospital mortuary, Onicha-Uku for autopsy, while efforts are on to apprehend the fleeing suspects.
“Also, on September 19, 2015, at about 7.pm, the police Dragon patrol team 23 while on patrol at Olor-Ossissa village along Kwale/Ogwashi-Uku road, suspected one green-coloured Golf Wagon car with Reg. No. (Anambra) NNE 629 XB and flagged it down.
“Upon a search on the vehicle, two cut to size locally-made guns and three live cartridges were recovered from one Ejiets Anslem, aged 21, and Oyi Obasoham, aged 17, both passengers in the car.
Kalu said the two suspects are currently undergoing interrogation, after which they would be prosecuted for illegal possession of fire arms.
