Suspected political thugs attack Edwin Clark’s wife in Ogun

Politics sha...Some persons, believed to be political thugs, yesterday in Abeokuta, attacked Dr. Bisola Sodipo-Clark, wife of Niger Delta leader, Chief Edwin Clark.
Mrs. Clark and her supporters were attacked at Sokori area of Abeokuta North Local Government Area, Ogun State.

It was gathered that some members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, who had gathered to welcome her were injured and rushed to the hospital.
The woman, who is the senatorial candidate of PDP for Ogun Central zone, was on a tour of her constituency when the hoodlums pounced on her and her supporters.
The timely intervention of security details prevented the thugs from causing more havoc
