Election: Ballot Papers Arrive States On Wednesday

Nice one.....The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has said ballot papers to be used for Saturday’s presidential and National Assembly elections are to be moved from Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN vaults from tomorrow, Wednesday, March 25.
Kayode Idowu, chief press secretary to the INEC chairman, said all non-sensitive materials have already been sent to locations for onward distribution to polling units for the polls.

He also said the sensitive materials, which are the ballot papers were kept in the vaults of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN branches across the country.
Idowu who disclosed this to newsmen in Abuja, explained that the ballot papers will be distributed to the state offices by Wednesday this week and will be taken from there to the local government offices on Thursday.
He added that the papers will be distributed to ward levels on Friday and by 5 am on Saturday people will move them from the wards to the polling units.
The chief press secretary also confirmed that the ballot papers for the different positions and locations had been customised in such a way that it will be difficult to be faked by anybody.
He assured that the Commission was ready with the logistics that will enhance a free, fair and credible election across the country, as it had also concluded training of the staff who will man the various polling units.
