Hmm..they should protect them.ooo....Some members of the National Youth Service Corps posted outside Lokoja, the Kogi State capital, have expressed worry over their safety in their places of assignment for Saturday’s polls.
The corps members, who spoke with our correspondent on the condition of anonymity at the Lokoja Township Stadium, said their Places of Primary Assignments are in Lokoja but were posted to other local government areas by the Independent National Electoral Commission because they are in excess.

Although the Resident Electoral Commissioner of the state, Halilu Pai, has allayed fears over their security, the corp members said they are not too relaxed going outside Lokoja.
“The INEC officials said we are above the needed numbers in Lokoja, so they have to move some of us to other local governments,” a male corps member posted to Okene Local Government said.
“I have heard many things about Okene and I am not too comfortable with going there but they have told us that we shall be safe, I still would have preferred Lokoja.”
A female corps member, who gave her name as Ada, said she believes the elections would go without trouble.
She said, “I am posted to Ibunu Local Government but I am not really convinced about the arrangements because we were not carried along apart from the assurances we were given.
“I believe the polls will go smoothly but our safety is really worrying me.”
About 400 corps members were posted out of the state capitals.
