Hmmm..okooooo.....The Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole, yesterday, disengaged the services of two Commissioners in his cabinet. The affected Commissioners are Orobosa Omo-Ojo, Commissioner for Transport, and Donald Osikhena-Boih, Commissioner for Lands and Survey.

This was announced through a release signed by the Governor’s Special Adviser on Media and Public Affairs, Prince Kassim Afegbua, who also announced names of four new Commissioners nominated by the governor of the State.
According to Afegbua, the four Commissioners nominated are Joseph Ayegbeni Ugheoke, Kenneth Edebiri, Saturday Idehen Uwulekhue and Priestly Ediagboya.
The Special Adviser on Media and Public Affairs further said the governor had also appointed two Deputy Chiefs of Staff. They are Frank Okiye, Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor (Administration) and Kenneth Ihensekhien, Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor (Political Matters). Their appointment takes immediate effect.
The statement revealed further., “The names of the Commissioners-designate have been forwarded to the state House of Assembly for screening,”
