Noble Igwe has blamed society for the craze for ill-gotten wealth and he highlighted ways society encourages such behaviour.

 

He pointed out that people are celebrated when they show off "overnight untraceable success".

 

Such people are given titles, preferential treatment, and respect. As a result, more "people will kill or commit crime to get such a treatment".

 

He added that even Churches receive donations from anyone with money, not minding the source and families do not question their children's wealth.

 

He called on Nigerians to stop celebrating "untraceable wealth".

Kanye West is reportedly not happy after finding out that his current flame, Julia Fox used to have sexual relations with his hiphop rival, Drake.

 Kanye and Fox are currently in Paris, as they attend Fashion Week.

They both started dating at the end of last year after Kanye made public call outs to estranged wife, Kim Kardashian urging her to stop divorce proceedings and leave her boyfriend, Pete Davison. 

However, according to gossip site, Page Six,  before dating Ye, Julia had dated his former nemesis, Drake.

Drake reportedly had a relationship with Kim, but Kanye said Drake denied it in their conversations while Kim has also refuted the rumors.

 

According to Page Six, sources say Fox, 31, has told West, 44, about her “Hotline Fling” with his rival Drake — who showered her with gifts including two Birkin bags — and that Ye is not thrilled about it.

 

The report says Drake first reached out to Fox via an Instagram DM to compliment her on her role in the 2019 Adam Sandler drama, “Uncut Gems.”

 

Drake then spent hundreds of thousands of dollars tricking off on the actress. He showed up to Bloomingdale’s — where Fox was doing a promotional gig — the next day to visit her at work.

 

“They closed down the store so he could visit,” said a source.

CONFESSION TIME.........Babangida Aliyu: Some Northerners made it impossible for Jonathan to crush Boko Haram - Former Governor, Babangida Aliyu

 

Former Governor Babangida Aliyu of Niger State has said some northerners made it difficult for former President Goodluck Jonathan to defeat Boko Haram.

 

Alleging that some persons in the region misconstrued Jonathan’s position on the war against insurgents as political, Aliyu in an interview with Punch added that it is unfortunate that insecurity has been allowed to escalate.

 

The  former Governor said; 

 

“When Boko Haram started and Umaru Musa Yar’Adua and Goodluck Jonathan’s government started doing something about it, it fell on former President Jonathan to carry on. Many northerners misconstrued his (Jonathan) position at that time and for political purposes, they threw many arguments that made it impossible for the proper articulation and proper implementation of policies that would have got rid of Boko Haram and now, we still have them till today. 

“The banditry that many of us thought was impossible to happen, I am yet to hear from anybody about the statement credited to Kawu Baraje, our former PDP national chairman in Kwara State, when he stated that they brought the bandits or Fulani from other places. I think based on the thinking that probably former President Jonathan wouldn’t have handed over power even if they had won, but he handed over.

“He congratulated them even before the conclusion proper counting of votes which then took away whatever purposes of bringing those people would have served and I would have thought that if that is true, then those who brought them in would compensated them to go back to where they came from.”

 

Aliyu also said that he believes that “if the governors had really done a lot from 2015 to date, we would have got rid of the banditry”.

 

He added; 

 

”Today it’s so unfortunate that you probably have to be praying when you leave Abuja for Kaduna or Kaduna to Abuja or indeed, particularly in the northern states.

“Now, even in the day time, you can’t drive freely and comfortably. So, I believe that the first port of call for fighting insecurity is the governors. Maybe you heard me in Kano when I was saying could one be greater than 19 because at one time, even though the circumstances were different, we had one man for 19 states and now, we have 19 governors and still, we have more problems than we did the last time.”

According to TMZ,  Nick, 41, is once again expecting a baby boy with real estate agent Bre Tiesi. 

 

 

The publication also reported that the reality star threw a stylish baby shower for his newest addition. Pregnant Bre was spotted cradling her growing baby bump in a white form-fitting dress.

 

 

This is Nick's eighth child with his fifth baby mama. He is also father to twins Monroe and Moroccan, 10, who he shares with ex-wife Mariah Carey, Golden "Sagon," 4, and Powerful Queen, 1, with model Brittany Bell, twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir, 7 months, with Abby De La Rosa and his late son Zen with Alyssa Scott.

LASU begs Bella Shmurda to come back and sit for his carry overs so he can earn his degree

 

The official Twitter account of Lagos State University (LASU) published a tweet, begging singer Bella Shmurda to return to school and earn his degree.

 

While marking his birthday,  Bella took to Twitter to reveal that his music has exceeded half a billion streams.

 

He added that if not for music, he'd still be in LASU,  wining and dining with carry overs and an empty pocket.

 

 

LASU responded to his tweet, telling him that they are glad to have played a part in his "beautiful story."

 

"By the way, please come back to class and earn your degree," LASU told the singer.

Friends and colleagues have praised the young woman for her 'humility, loyalty and respect' for her husband-to-be. 

 

According to Sunny Oduru and Gborienemi Mark Charles, the lady told her man that it's an abomination for him to kneel down before her to propose. 

 

"She said to her husband to be, 'Plz don't kneel for me.. It is against our culture for a man to kneel for a lady. Western education and civilization will not change the fact that you are the man of the house'" Gborienemi wrote.
