In a viral video, the clergyman said the vaccine is not good and that it is not healthy. He said he has been praying over the vaccine for days and that God showed him that something is medically abnormal with the vaccine.

Some people have come up with all kind of theories, I don’t know what they call conspiracy but I could know that it’s theories and some say it’s the mark of the beast. Some say it’s the Antichrist but I’ve said to you before that, when the Antichrist will come, we will not be here. We would have been gone. There are some jobs now, especially in the medical line, they said everybody must take it, some hospitals and some nurses but don’t take it.

Me, I won’t take it, my wife won’t take it, my children will not take it. If they say my child must take it before he goes to school, I’ll withdraw the child from going to school.

I’ll not advise you to take it but if you want to, go ahead but if you want my advice which I’m entitled to as your Pastor, I’ll say don’t take it.

About 250 beggars in Ibadan, on Thursday, April 1, protested low patronage by members of the public following a recent rumor that they sell money received from people to ritualists.

Spokesperson for the indigent beggars; Imam Abubakar Abdullahi, Serikin Hausawa of Hausawa Community, Oja’ba, Ibadan, who spoke to Vanguard, said the rumor had created deep hatred for his people.

 

"The reports that some wealthy people are buying money from beggars, including the physically-challenged people, for money rituals is not true. As a result of the claim that some ritualists do buy money from these beggars, there has been public resentment against these innocent people," Abdullahi said. 

 

"What we know is that traders, hawkers and commercial drivers do come to these beggars who are mainly blind and lame people, to change money (get smaller denominations). We need to clear our names so that people will not be punishing us for offences we don’t know anything about." he added.

Dozens of convicted child sex offenders are set to be castrated in Kazakhstan, the country's Government has announced.

 

25 sex criminals are set to be castrated. They are the latest to undergo the controversial procedure which one man said left him "aching so badly" he could hardly walk.

 

A total of 95 men are expected to undergo chemical castration in Kazakhstan this year at a cost of £178 per paedophile, Dailystar reports.

 

Interior Ministry official Alexey Milyuk said that since the 2018 law came into effect, "the number of offences against the underaged has decreased by 15.4%".

 

The country's Government believes the use of forced chemical castration to dramatically reduce male libido among convicted paedophiles will reduce sex crimes against children.

 

Mr Milyuk said: "Legislation has been significantly tightened to prevent crimes against the sexual integrity of children.

 

"Early parole for paedophiles has been prohibited. Jail terms for rape and sexual violence against children has been increased from 12 years to life.

 

Kazakhstan now jails all paedophiles in maximum security prisons.

 

One child rapist, who has been castrated, called for a ban on the "barbaric" procedure.

 

"It is incredibly difficult. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy," the convicted child rapist said after undergoing the first injection to reduce his libido.

 

He continued: "I am pleading for help, and I want to appeal to everyone so that chemical castration is cancelled.

 

"I still hope to go back home, to continue my life. I want to have a family, I want to have children.

 

"My body is aching so badly after the injection that I struggle to walk, and it is scary."

 

However, a nurse whose job it is to castrate the sex criminals in one Kazakh jail, claims other countries should follow the example.

 

Zoya Manaenko, 69, insists it is right that child sex attackers should face this ultimate punishment.

She said: "These people need to be stopped somehow.

 

"They commit terrible crimes against children. So it is right that the law allows this."

 

Kazakhstan’s no-tolerance policy includes publishing pictures, names and addresses of all child sex attackers after their release from jail.

 

Last year a map showed the location of 234 "potentially dangerous paedophiles” after their release.

 

Among those on the list of shame is Igor Trusov, 60, who sexually abused an eight-year-old and was released in 2018 after a seven-year sentence.

CHEI.........Boko Haram Claims It Shot Down Missing Air Force Jet

 

Boko Haram militant group has claimed it shot down a Nigerian fighter jet that went missing earlier this week and which the air force said may have crashed, according to a militant video released on Friday.

The Alpha light attack jet was on a mission to support troops fighting militants in northeastern Borno state when it lost radar contact on Wednesday, the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) said.

Nigeria’s military have been battling jihadists in the northeast of the country for more than a decade and have recently been fighting them in their stronghold in Sambisa forest in Borno state.

The video, which could not be verified by AFP, was released on a Boko Haram social media channel showing a militant standing on what the group claims is the wreckage of the jet. It shows the Nigerian flag and number NAF 475 on its fuselage.

“Nigeria air force jet fighter… was sent to Sambisa to fight the Mujahideen,” the militant said.

The air force said on Friday that the jet may have crashed. It said the cause of the crash and the whereabouts of the two crew onboard were unknown.

“Search and rescue efforts are still ongoing by NAF surveillance aircraft as well as NAF Special Forces and Nigerian Army troops on ground,” its statement said.

“At this point, the NAF is not ruling out anything regarding the incident. It however remains hopeful that the crew would soon be found and rescued.”

It did not respond immediately to a request for an update on the search.

In 2014, Boko Haram said it shot down another Nigerian air force jet and showed a video claiming to have beheaded its pilot.

Since the Islamist insurgency broke out in 2009, the conflict has killed around 36,000 people in the region and displaced some two million from their homes.

The violence has also spread to neighbouring Niger, Chad and Cameroon.

The Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) split from Boko Haram in 2016 and has since become a prominent threat, attacking soldiers and bases while killing and kidnapping civilians.

A husband had to set a man straight after the man questioned why he chose to pamper his wife for welcoming their son.

 

The husband named Bowale shared photos of his wife and their newborn son vacationing abroad while he stays back to work.

How kidnapper abducted 16-year-old girl he met on Facebook, raped her twice daily for seven days and demanded N3 ransom from her family

 

The Edo State Police Command has arrested a 19-year-old suspected kidnapper, Tajudeen Igikalo, who abducted a teenage girl he met on Facebook.

 

The police operatives also rescued the victim, a 16-year-old Senior Secondary student from Benin City. 

 

It was gathered that the suspect met the teenager on Facebook in February, 2021. They chatted for one month, after which he invited her to his house at Egba on Benin-Auchi Road in Edo state

On Thursday, 25 March 2021, the girl visited Tajudeen in Egba after school hours. To her greatest shock, the suspect allegedly kidnapped her on the spot and she spent seven days in captivity.

The suspect then allegedly removed the sim card from her mobile phone and then contacted her family demanding N3 million ransom for her release.

 

He threatened to sell the girl, whose name is not mentioned because she is minor, to Fulani herders if they failed to pay the ransom.

 

Four days after, on March 29, the girl’s mother rallied about N550,000. On Thursday, 1 April, the victim was rescued at a residential address in Egba on Benin Auchi road after investigators arrested the suspect.

Speaking to Standard Gazette, the girl narrated her ordeal during the seven days of captivity. 

 

“I met him on Facebook last month. He asked me to visit him, and I never knew he had the plan to kidnap me. I have never had sex before. He raped me twice a day for seven days. I am still in pain now." 

 

On his part, the suspect said he kidnapped the girl because he needed money to sort out some issues. 

 

“I have been chatting with her on Facebook since February 2021, and we agreed to meet. I called the mother for ransom because I need money to sort out some issues. I spent two years in Ghana and returned to Nigeria recently."

 

Spokesperson of the State Police Command, Contacted, SP Bello Kontongs, who confirmed the arrest, said, the suspect will be charged to court for kidnapping.

 

"Our young girls must be very watchful of people they meet on Facebook.” he added.

Afikpo North Local Government chairman, Barr. Obiageri Oko Enyi, has reacted to her brother's allegations against her and the Ebonyi State Governor, Umahi.

 

Fidelis Chidi Blog reported that the Special Assistant to Governor Umahi, on School Monitoring, Akpiko North LGA, Ogbonnia Oko Enyim, resigned his appointment on Tuesday March 30. 

 

The immediate past chairman of Afikpo North had accused the Governor of showing undue interest in his sister and denying him the right as the first son to organise a befitting burial for his father. 

 

In statement issued on Thursday April 1, Barr. Obiageli alleged that her elder brother has been frustrating every plan to bury their late father.

 

According to Obiageri, their father, Omezue Simon Oko Enyim died since the 25th of February, 2020 and must be buried between April and May 18, 2021, else he would not be buried again this year as custom demands.

 

 

Obiageri further stated that Oko Enyim had resorted to playing to the gallery by blackmailing the state governor, Dave Umahi, and alleging that he is interfering in their family matter. Her statement read;

 

"I have desisted from joining words with my brother, Chief Ogbonnia Oko Enyim, with regards to the burial of our late father. His dragging the Governor into our family issues is nothing but cheap blackmail as the governor has never meddled in our family affairs, let alone stopping the former chairman from burying our father," she stated.

 

"The truth is that Oko Enyim has been doing everything possible to make sure that our father is not buried since he died on Tuesday, 25th February, 2020, more than a year now. He doesn’t even know the mortuary where our late father’s corpse was deposited, let alone involving people in the burial arrangements.

"Instead, he has been frustrating every move we are making as a family to bury our father. As the first son of the family, Oko Enyim has never set his foot in the family house to inquire about the corpse of his father or burial plans. Bear in mind that our father died while he was still the council chairman, but he didn’t give a hoot.

 

"Instead, what he has been doing is to report me and our family to different people, especially Amasiri elders, and refusing different dates for the burial of our father. In fact, he recently declared that the burial will be in November this year.

 

"My father was a titled man and there is a specific period of the year that he is supposed to be buried. In fact, you don’t bury a titled man of my father’s status during the rainy season, according to our tradition, as he was an Omezue.

 

"However, instead of telling people the truth of how he has been frustrating the moves of our extended family, Oko Enyim decided to play to the gallery by blackmailing Governor Umahi and alleging that he is interfering in our family. Who does that?”

 

She added: “I didn’t collect anybody’s birth right and I am not thinking of doing that because I am a custodian of culture and tradition. I am Ogbueku Nwanyi. I am not even renovating my father’s house in order to get a room there. I have so many places to live.

 

"It is in the public domain that he didn’t care for our father until his death. He died under a leaking roof. I am the one renovating the house now. When our father died in a hospital, out of respect for him as the first son and as a custodian of culture, I called Oko Enyim to tell me where I should deposit his corpse, even against our father’s wish as he had instructed that Oko Enyim should not participate in his burial.

 

"On Thursday, 27th February, 2020, I went to Oko Enyim’s house to talk about burial plans, but he ignored me. What he did was to tell people to tell me to give him the receipt for the mortuary. People should ask him the mortuary his father’s corpse is. He has been pasting posters without a mortuary address.

 

"The summary of the whole thing is that the family is begging him to come to the family house or even invite us to his own house for us to agree on how we will bury our late father.

 

"If he has chosen a date, what are the preparations so far? What are we going to wear that day? Are we not supposed to contribute to the tribute? Are we not supposed to say anything in the burial programme? These are what we are asking of him. Nobody is dragging date or birth right with him. What we are asking is for the proper thing to be done.

 

"In Ehugbo culture and in a polygamous house, every house must be present or represented in discussing burial plans. Our first daughter is in the UK. She took care of our father while Oko Enyim was neglecting the same man. Our elder sister suggested fixing the burial ending of April, but Oko Enyim refused.

 

"Someone should ask him whether he has come to the family house since our father died on 25th of February last year, let alone renovating it. He has not entered the house as I am speaking with you, so who is denying him of his responsibilities?

 

"I have severally called him and gone to his house to beg him to own up to his responsibilities. Even when the Umunna, that’s our father’s kindred, came in and gave a neutral date, Oko Enyim went and reported them to the community chief, who said we will all work with the date chosen by the Umunna. In all the places Oko Enyim reported us to, he failed. That’s why he then reported me to the governor.

 

"It is because of him that I have not told anyone, even my colleagues, that I am burying my father as I don’t want us to wash our dirty linens outside. But he said he will frustrate me. Even on Saturday last week that he came opposite our family house, the Umunna asked him what he really wants and he said he will bury our father in November. That’s when the Umunna told him they know he just wants to punish everyone as the deceased can no longer be buried this year after May 18.”

The President is currently in the UK for a routine medical check-up.

 

Reno in a video released on Thursday, April 1, said he will be flying in to the UK this morning to stage a #HarassBuhariOutofLondon protest. According to him, the President can not travel to the UK for a medical check-up when he is yet to account for the October 20 shooting of EndSARS protesters.

 

On Friday morning, April 2, Reno arrived in the UK and was joined by some other Nigerians who are currently outside the Abuja house, demanding the President leaves the country and go back to Nigeria.

Ngige: If doctors remain stubborn, I’ll invoke weapons in labour laws on them

 

 

Chris Ngige, minister of labour, says he will invoke “weapons in the labour laws” on resident doctors, if they refuse to back down on the ongoing strike — after government meets some of their demands.

On Thursday, the National Association of Resident Doctors (NARD) embarked on an indefinite strike over salary arrears and owed allowances.

Speaking on Friday, when he featured on Politics Today, a Channels Television programme, Ngige said employers of the resident doctors can invoke the no-work-no-pay rule.

“By Tuesday, I will invite them back (referring to NARD). If they become recalcitrant, there are things I can do,” he said.

“There are weapons in the labour laws I will invoke. There is ‘no work, no pay’. Their employers have a role also to keep their businesses afloat, to keep patients alive. They can employ local doctors.”

He noted that he is optimistic that the matter will be resolved within a few days, as meetings have been arranged to clear the backlog of owed salaries and allowances.

Ngige, however, maintained that government will not hesitate to invoke relevant sections of the law on labour against the resident doctors if they refuse to resume work.

“We won’t get there. If we are going to get there, we’ll use that stick,” he added.

Israella, the 8-year-old daughter of Enlightened Christian Gathering (ECG) leader Prophet Shepherd Bushiri, has been laid to rest.

 

We reported that Israella died in the Intensive Care Unit of a Kenyan hospital in the early hours of Monday morning, March 29, after battling lung infection. 

 

 

Her remains landed at Kamuzu International Airport on Wednesday, followed by a memorial service to celebrate her life at the BICC Auditorium in Lilongwe, Malawi. On Thursday, April 1, she was laid to rest at Ntcheu boma.

 

 

Sharing photos from his daughter's funeral, the self-proclaimed prophet, wrote: 

 

"Yesterday on Thursday (1st of April, 2021) the Prophet’s family, sons and daughters together with people from different dominations escorted Saint Israella to GLORY where she is with the Father in heavenly PLACES.

 

"She was born on Christmas Day, a time of celebrating the birth of Christ, and she has gone back to the Father during the Easter period, a time of commemorating the death and resurrection of Christ. Her message was simple: “God works in mysterious ways.”

 

"Truly He does work in Mysterious ways. We love you our Angel. Rest Well Israella and God bless you all for being with us during this time."
