Edo: PDP reacts to Obaseki dumping of APC

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has commended the Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki for dumping the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Obaseki had announced his resignation from APC during a chat with State House Correspondents at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Reacting, PDP’s National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan described Obaseki’s decision as a bold and courageous move.
Ologbondiyan said it was time for Nigerians to come together and save the country from the APC.
In a series of tweets, Ologbondiyan wrote: “I just spoke with @GovernorObaseki. I commended his bold and courageous decision to abandon the fizzling Congress.

“The time has come for all democrats to rally together and save our nation from the failures @OfficialAPCNg

“A new life is brewing in Edo State @OfficialPDPNig as a major stakeholder is keenly following the development.#FizzlingAPC.”
