The Delta State Governor, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, through his SA on Religious
Matters, Apt S. Okotote, has announced that the lockdown in the state will be relaxed on Sunday 12th April, 2020 to allow the Christians in the state observe the Easter celebrations.
In the circular addressed to The State CAN Chairman, CAN Heads of
BLOCS, All PASTORS in Delta State, however, the required that the
following must be observed:

1. All Churches should observe a short service not exceeding 2 hours & should close before 12noon as the Stay at home order resumes at 1pm.
2. Provide water & soap & ensure that worshippers wash hands before entering the Church.
3. Provide Sanitizers for members to use.
4. Maintain social distance of 2 meters(6ft) betweeed visit to churches to ensure compliance.
