Rowland Alawari Zeus
A final year student of the University of Port Harcourt has reportedly drowned while he was hanging out with his girlfriend.
It has been reported that a 400 level Animal Science student of the
University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, has died, leaving family and
friends in deep pain and anguish.
The young man identified as Rowland Alawari Zeus, reportedly drowned while he was hanging out with his girlfriend.
Local reports show that the incident happened yesterday February 8,
2019, at the Abuloma Sandcity. It was gathered that Rowland Alawari
Zeus had initially been rescued after running into trouble while
swimming.
However, a speed boat later swept him back into the water from the
Dredging Pipe where he was temporarily laid to recuperate. He died
afterwards.
Friends and family have
been inconsolable since the tragic incident. His sister
reportedly collapsed when she heard about the incident and has been
hospitalized.
