There was pandemonium at the early hours of Saturday as series of explosions rocked the Maiduguri, the Borno State capital.
Residents of Maiduguri were seen scampering for dear lives.
According to TVC, the explosions, seven of them, began at around 5:50 am
This is coming few hours before the commencement of the presidential and National Assembly elections.
According to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, elections are expected to begin at 8am
Residents of Maiduguri, Borno state and Yobe state might not be
participating in the elections as they are currently under attacks from
Boko Haram members. According to journalist, Ahmad Salkida,
several explosions have been recorded so far in the states.
