Senate fixes January 19 for commencement of debate on 2016 budget

Hehe...the Senate President, Bukola Saraki has said the senate will commence debate on the 2016 Appropriation Bill presented to the National Assembly by President Muhammadu Buhari as from Tuesday 19thJanuary.Saraki, on Wednesday made the announcement during plenary.A tweet from the Twitter account of the Nigerian Senate, reads, “Senate President @bukolasaraki announces that the debateof #2016Appropriation Bill will commence on Tuesday 19th January 2016.”This disclosure follows viral reports that both the hard and soft copies of the 2016 budget documents Buhari presented to the National Assembly had gone missing.
