Ajimobi loses senatorial election to PDP

Oyo state governor, Abiola Ajimobi, has lost his bid to return to the Senate after leaving office.
The returning officer for Oyo South Senatorial District, Prof. Wole Akinsola, said PDP candidate, Kola Balogun polled 105, 720 votes to beat APC's Ajimobi  who scored 92,218.
